Pompey welcome high-flying Swansea City to Fratton Park this evening.
It also extended their unbeaten streak to five matches, leaving John Mousinho’s troops just three points off the play-offs in eighth.
Tougher opposition awaits tonight against Vitor Matos’ side, who sit second in the early-season standings after securing a 4-0 win over Blackburn Rovers on the weekend.
Here’s how we think the Blues could line-up at Fratton Park this evening.

9. RW: Ryan Kavuma-McQueen
This is where it becomes slightly more difficult to call what the Blues could do. Abu Kamara's form has come under some criticism from supporters in recent weeks and struggled once again at Turf Moor. With bodies returning from the sidelines out wide, it could give the £2.5m arrival a much-needed rest, while Kavuma-McQueen could move over to right. | Jason Brown

10. CAM: Ebou Adams
Adams has admitted frustration at his lack of starts, with much of his action coming from the bench. He has been deployed in a more advanced role in midfield and that could be required against a physical Swansea team, who currently sit second in the standings. | Jason Brown

11. LW: Tyrese Shade
Shade has been deployed on the left since his Fratton arrival and with Kavuma-McQueen potentially moving onto the right, the £2m signing could be handed a start this evening. | Jason Brown

12. ST: Thomas Waddingham
A huge call in attack. There's no doubting the Aussie's qualities, it's whether Mousinho believes he's fit enough to start. Waddingham has been really impressive since his injury return, scoring against Millwall and hasn't been afraid to throw himself about, win headers, get past his man and lead the line with real intent. It would mark just his second league start for the Blues since his January 2025 signing - is that risk worth taking against Swansea? | Jason Brown
