Pompey relentless Championship run-in continues this evening as they face title-chasing Coventry City.
The Blues make the midweek trip to the CBS Arena on a brilliant run of form, which has seen them secure wins in all of their previous three matches.
Pompey face Frank Lampard’s Coventry, who clinched promotion on Friday following a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers. Maximum points this evening would also see them claim the title.
Here’s how we think Mousinho’s men could line-up at the CBS Arena tonight.
9. RW: Adrian Segecic
Segecic has been brilliant filling in on the right-wing, which has seen him amass three assists in the previous three matches. The Croatian is ending his maiden campaign in English football on a high. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
10. CAM: Conor Chaplin
Chaplin will be looking to end his loan stay at Fratton Park on a high, having netted two goals and registered three assists to date. He'll add a creative spark to the Blues' frontline, which could be the difference against Coventry. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
11. LW: Millenic Alli
Despite a man-of-the-match performance against Ipswich, Alli was much quieter against Leicester on the weekend. With Anderson sidelined through injury, though, the Luton loanee will be playing a key role in the final three matches. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
12. ST: Colby Bishop
The Magic Man has earned a huge amount of praise for his tireless performances in recent weeks. Bishop has been instrumental in leading the line, causing immense frustration to opposition defenders. | Graham Hunt/ProSportsImages
