2. Daniel Bielica 7
A spectator for most of the afternoon on first Pompey appearance. Distribution pretty efficient throughout and then stepped up with one impressive one-on-one save in game’s latter stages. | Stephen Flynn/ProSportsImages
3. Josh Knight - 7
Slotted in at right-back once again, which has been a feature of the defender’s pre-season. Was the leading voice on the pitch, which became more important as the team’s make-up became more youthful. Linked up well with Kenny going forward. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
4. Madiodio Dia 7
Fairly dominant in the middle of the back line as Senegalese man stakes claim ahead of new campaign. Pretty comfortable throughout - and wasn’t happy about being withdrawn! | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
