'Rode our luck...impressed with atmosphere...no one surprised': Portsmouth and Hull City faithfuls have say
Pompey and Hull City fans have been having their says on yesterday’s events at Fratton Park. Here’s a selection of their views on X, formerly Twitter.
As someone who attended #Pompey through the 90s when gates were often below 8,000, it was great to see we filled the Milton End sections given Hull only brought 1,000. 19,200 available seats, all filled by Pompey fans. Proof we need a bigger capacity. @Michael_Eisner get it built. @MASaunders75
Another frustrating self-inflicted home defeat but credit to #Pompey fans who continued to stick by their team. Chief Commercial Officer Mark Judges highlighted PFC fans loyalty at the recent Tony Goodall Fans Conference Meeting & pointed out the constant home section sell out. @parquedelperro
Take the points and get out of there - up u tigers !! @Senseifatboi
Not a single Pompey fan can be shocked at this #Pompey @luked1980
Rode our luck a bit, but lads stuck at it and we take the 3 points. Not pretty to watch but who cares. UTT. Great to see the Tree back, he does it again. @1280Sue
Love this club proved all season we can find a way to win despite not playing well and with key players out big win today @RealCTcrunch
Another sucker punch at home. #Pompey should not be losing games like that. Fine margins in this league and that’s an extraordinary mistake from Segecic. Output in the attacking third way off it. Big one next week now @_JLWilson
Only my opinion, but as a #Pompey fan I'd personally rather we didn't throw Adrian Segecic under the bus. Surely, he is still in credit? @PropPersonnel
Seriously what is Segs thinking? I genuinely got taught not to pass the ball into a dangerous area when I was 6. Love the bloke but hope he’s had a battering in that dressing room @POMP_jack
Impressed with the atmosphere at Portsmouth yesterday. Despite having a very bland season the crowd were for it - right up to the moment Tree extinguished the enthusiasm! Proper old school stadium too. Cracking day, match aside, but a crucial nick of the 3 points! #UTT #hcafc @RobCragz
