‘No words’: Devastated Portsmouth attacker pens emotional message after ‘freak’ training ground injury
Pompey are expected to be without Luke Brooke-Smith for the foreseeable future after sustaining a devastating training ground injury.
A devastated Luke Brooke-Smith has penned an emotional message to the Fratton faithful on social media after sustaining a serious injury during a ‘freak’ training ground accident.
A contact incident in training has left the 18-year-old with a dislocated ankle, a leg fracture along with significant ligament damage.

Brooke-Smith, who has featured four times for the Blues since his signing in July, was rushed to the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, where he was later discharged on Tuesday evening.
John Mousinho revealed the winger will now undergo surgery this week but is hopeful the injury will not be season ending.
