The Blues have a number of key men in the treatment room over the international break, covering a wide expanse of expected return dates.
With the likes of Josh Murphy, Callum Lang, Conor Shaughnessy and Nico Schmid missing, John Mousinho’s side are natrually feeling the losses.
We’ve pulled together the latest information on who’s out, their issues and when we can expect to see the players back in action.

5. Conor Shaughnessy: Hamstring
Conor Shaughnessy injured his hamstring against Sheffield Wednesday with the issue requiring surgery and keeping the defender out for three months. That would keep the defender out to mid-December. Mousinho said of the issue this week:You look at someone like Conor Shaughnessy, who had been out with a hamstring injury last season. ‘He returned towards the back end of the year, had a full pre-season with us and no issues whatsoever. He then played every minute of every league game in the build up to Sheffield Wednesday. ‘Then he has to be substituted five minutes after half-time. He had sprinted, wasn’t really at full tilt, while we've had a full week’s rest before that - and he’s gone down with a torn hamstring. ‘Everything was pointing in the right direction for Shocks. It’s one of those where you think there’s not a huge amount you can do other than rue your bad luck. I think we will see a few more of those this season, hopefully not for us.' | Stephen Flynn/ProSportsImages

6. Callum Lang: Hamstring
Lang came off against Norwich with a hamstring injury which required surgery. The winger is targeting being back for the clash with Millwall after next month's international break. Mousinho said last week: : ‘Langy’s fine, he’s coming on fine. The timescale was 12 weeks - and he’s looking at the Millwall game as his target.' Photo: Dan Istitene
7. Josh Murphy: Ankle
Murphy has now been missing for four games with a niggling ankle injury, which has required an injection. Pompey pushed for the winger to be back for Middlesbrough last time, out but eventually erred on the side of caution with the key man. Mousinho is now hopeful he'll be back for Leicester next week. He said after the Middlesbrough win: We’re nearly there with Josh. ‘We did push a couple of things with him this week to try to get him fit. ‘There’s now a couple of weeks for his ankle to properly settle down, and we can hopefully settle down for those three games in a week when we come back. ‘It’s genuinely not long term with him. People would’ve have seen him around Fratton Park today and he really is absolutely fine. He’s signed his new contract which is obviously brilliant news, too. ‘We’re close with Josh and he provides a lot of competition at the top end of the pitch.’ | Manjit Narotra/ProSportsImages
