14 fabulous photos of spirited Portsmouth faithful backing side in defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane

Pompey’s away-day frustrations continued on Wednesday evening as John Mousinho’s men fell to a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United.

With the scores poised at 0-0, the defining moment in the evening came just before the break with Terry Devlin shown a straight red card after a handball on the line.

Sydie Peck converted from the spot before second-half strikes from Patrick Bamford and Gustavo Hamer condemned the Blues top their fifth defeat in seven games.

Nonetheless, 1,309 Pompey fans made the long-midweek trip to Bramall Lane and were in full voice throughout the evening.
