Pompey face play-off chasing Derby County on Monday evening as the run-in commences.

When is Pompey v Derby County

The Championship run-in continues to gather pace on Monday evening as Pompey welcome play-off chasing Derby County to Fratton Park.

Sky Sports have selected the contest for live coverage on their Football channel, with the game potentially having huge implications at either end of the standings.

Can I get tickets?

Tickets remain on sale for home supporters, with limited availability in both the North and South Stands.

An additional batch of seats in the Milton End were put on sale earlier this week, with seating still available from blocks MP to MQ.

At the time of writing, Derby are yet to sell out their allocation behind the goal in the Milton End.

Will it be on TV and can I stream it?

Supporters unable to attend the action at Fratton on Monday will be able to watch the contest unfold on Sky Sports.

There will be in-depth build-up from studio guests, who will be providing analysis before kick-off, at half-time and after the full-time whistle.

Coverage begins from 7.30pm on the Sky Sports Football channel, although the fixture is unavailable on the Main Event channel due to Brentford v Wolves in the Premier League.

Alternatively, a NOW TV membership can be purchased, with day passes to stream the match - as well as Sky Sports’ 12 other channels - available for £14.99.

Team news

Pompey still have a lengthy injury list with at least 10 members of John Mousinho’s squad missing the contest at Fratton.

Franco Umeh (hamstring), Mark Kosznovszky (knee), Josh Murphy (foot) and Aji Alese (quad) will sit out the remainder of the season, while it remains to be seen whether Florian Bianchini (knee) could feature in the final 10 games of the campaign campaign.

Keshi Anderson (hamstring) and Andre Dozzell (ankle) are both pencilled in to return after the international break, while Josh Knight (back) could be back in the fold against Middlesbrough next month.

It remains to be seen when Makenzie Kirk and Thomas Waddingham could complete their comebacks from achilles and quad issues respectively.

Meanwhile, Regan Poole is poised to feature after a one-game absence with an ankle problem, alongside Conor Shaughnessy, who was rested against Swansea City as he continues to build up his fitness after a quad set-back.

The shot stopper picked up a groin issue late in their defeat to Millwall on Tuesday evening and is now set for eight weeks on the sidelines.

The 30-year-old will be joined by Jacob Widell Zetterstrom (illness), Danny Batth (unspecified) Sondre Langas (hamstring), Max Johnston (hamstring), Callum Elder (toe), Lars Jorgen-Salvesen (calf), Liam Thompson (calf) in missing the trip to the south coast.

Referee

The EFL have announced Anthony Backhouse will be the man in the middle for the huge contest at the bottom of the Championship standings. The official will be assisted by Sam Lewis, Hristo Karaivanov and fourth official Josh Smith.

Backhouse took charge of the Blues’ 1-0 win to Middlesbrough and has officiated 20 Championship matches this term.
