The Championship fixtures have been released and the football data geeks have dusted off their algorithms.
There may be seven weeks until the campaign begins, but that’s not stopped the stattos crunching the numbers and using their football supercomputer to predict the 2026-27 Championship campaign.
Conducted in conjunction with Parimatch UK Sportsbook, the supercomputer works by predicting the outcome of each fixture based on factors such as player quality, manager quality, historical trends, their form during the 2025-26 season, betting market fluctuations and other variables.
A level of randomness is also added into the predictions to ensure that upsets happen with the supercomputer before simulating every possible game in a season 10,000 times and arriving at an average table.
Here’s the results!
