The 6 former Portsmouth players who made deadline day moves - including Bradford City and Aberdeen men
Pompey recruited three new faces on deadline day, while two members of John Mousinho’s squad departed.
It was a hectic finale to the winter window at Fratton Park as Pompey wrapped up their transfer business.
While John Mousinho looked to reinforce his squad, there were two notable departures.
Tom McIntyre’s frustrating two-year stay at Fratton Park came to a close after mutual agreement to cancel his contract, while Callum Lang sealed an emotional exit to join Preston North End, who paid a club-record fee to land the 27-year-old.
While it was an all-action end to the window on the south coast, there were a number of former Pompey players on the move on deadline day.
Adil Aouchiche
The Frenchman was on the move in the winter window once again, 12 months after sealing a loan move to Fratton Park from Sunderland.
Despite spending the first half of this term on loan at Aberdeen, which saw Aouchiche net three goals and provide two assists, the forward was recalled from his stay in Scotland by the Black Cats.
The 23-year-old has since completed a permanent exit from the Stadium of Light to join 2.Bundesliga outfit Schalke for an undisclosed fee.
It brings a two-and-a-half-year affiliation with Sunderland to an end, with the ex-Pompey loanee registering just 38 appearances in the north east.
Callum Lang

The biggest of blows to the Fratton faithful on deadline day as Lang’s two-year stay with the Blues came to an end.
Preston reignited their interest in the 27-year-old earlier in the window after a failed summer attempt, with a move going right to the wire.
A deal was completed in the final minutes on Monday evening, which has seen the Lilywhites pay a club-record fee for his services.
Lang netted 16 goals and registered three assists in 53 outings as well as a League One title for Pompey following his January 2024 move from Wigan Athletic.
Lee Evans
The four-time League One title winner completed a permanent departure from Blackpool to promotion hopefuls Bradford City on deadline day.
The 31-year-old will bolster Graham Alexander’s engine room as the Bantams eye a promotion push in the second half of the season.
Evans featured just four times for Pompey during the 2023-24 campaign before being released at the end of his short-term contract following the Blues’ return to the Championship.
Sean Raggett
The Fratton favourite has endured a frustrating 18-month stay at Rotherham United, which has seen him amass just 26 appearances due to injury.
The centre-back is looking for a fresh start with League Two outfit Cambridge United, who currently sit second in the standings and has penned a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign.
Raggett was a much-loved member of Mousinho’s League One title-winning squad and departed Fratton Park after a five-year stay in 2024.
Tommy Leigh

Leigh came through the ranks at Pompey before being released at the age of 16, where he would then go on to feature for Accrington Stanley, MK Dons and Bradford City.
Having featured 16 times at Valley Parade during the first half of the campaign, the midfielder completed a loan switch to League Two strugglers Bristol Rovers.
The ex-Fratton Park youth product was once sought after by Danny Cowley during his tenure at the Blues.
Tom McIntyre
After suffering a season-ending ankle injury on debut in 2024, the central defender would register just 12 further appearances for the Blues and also spent time on loan with Charlton Athletic and Bradford.
The former Reading man has since joined Aberdeen on a short-term contract for the remainder of the season.
