Despite a poor start for Pompey in the Championship this season, supporters have so far flocked to Fratton Park in their numbers.

The Blues’ fantastic support was made clear once again on the weekend, with 20,388 fans in attendance for Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Bristol City at PO4.

That has helped attendances average to 20,205 during Pompey’s opening 10 home matches this term.

But how does that compare to the rest of the division?

Football statistics website, FootballWebPages, have worked out each Championship club’s average home attendances this season, to see who leads the way in the second tier at present.
