'He said I talk too much': Portsmouth boss John Mousinho hits out at Wolves head coach after clashing at final whistle
Terry Devlin’s late leveller keeps the Blues 13th in the Championship
John Mousinho hit out at Wolves counterpart Cesar Peixoto after clashing following tonight’s 1-1 draw.
Terry Devlin’s stunning 86th-minute goal earned Pompey a late point at Molineux to make it one defeat in seven games, keeping them in 13th place in the Championship.

However, during the match, words were regularly exchanged between both benches as the animosity built up.
It spilt over when the Wolves bench were unhappy over first-team coach Michael Doyle’s celebration at the Blues’ late equaliser.
Then, following the final whistle, Mousinho and Peixoto had a confrontation when Pompey’s head coach went over to the Wolves man to shake his hand, with even Zak Swanson among those getting involved.
Mousinho told The News: ‘I shook the manager’s hand and then he said I talk too much. So I very politely told him that that’s probably what I do, that’s my job as head coach.
‘It was just handbags, absolutely nothing, it’s just one of those, shake hands and walk off. I didn’t quite understand it, but it’s fine, no worries.

‘During the game, I got up to talk to the fourth official, I don’t know if you aren’t allowed to any more, I was told in no uncertain terms, quite a rude way, that I needed to sit down and not talk to the fourth.
‘I tried to point out that I didn’t know there had been a law change where I wasn’t allowed to speak to the fourth any more, that was it.
‘You know what I’m like, just let each manager speak to the fourth, just get on with your own job.
‘My job is quite difficult, I’m sure his job is quite difficult as well, let them get on with it. Let the staff do their own thing, stop interfering.’
The Blues boss rested four players for the Molineux trip, with Marlon Pack, Marko Milovanovic, Zak Swanson and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen all dropped to the bench.
They were replaced by Devlin, Ebou Adams, Rocco Shein and Tyrese Shade, while fit-again Thomas Waddingham was included in a first squad since the opening day of the season.
And the much-changed Pompey dug in to earn a hard-earned point against Wolves, who, along with referee Ed Duckworth, were booed off by the fans at the final whistle.
