Defender dropped and skipper returns as Portsmouth boss makes three changes for Lincoln

The Blues have made three changes at Sincil Bank following successive defeats

Regan Poole misses out for Pompey as John Mousinho rings the changes for the trip to Lincoln.

The former Imps favourite and last season’s runner-up in The News/Sports Mail Player of the Season, doesn’t even make the squad at Sincil Bank.

Instead Benjy Arthur partners Conor Shaughnessy in the centre of a Blues defence which has leaked six goals in two matches so far this season.

Arthur is among three changes, with Marlon Pack and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen also named in a team which lost 3-1 against QPR last weekend.

Pack is back from a knee injury and comes in for Ebou Adams, while Kavumba-McQueen is handed his full debut in place of Luke Brooke-Smith, having impressed off the bench against Rangers.

Pack also resumed the captaincy, while Josh Knight returns to the squad for a place on the bench, with Luke Le Roux dropping out.

Pompey: Schmid, Devlin, Arthur, Shaughnessy, Swanson, Pack, Shein, Kamara, Segegic, Kavuma-McQueen, Bishop.

Subs: Beilica, Knight, Swift, Murphy, Bailey, Brooke-Smith, Marezi, Adams, Dia.
