The Pompey team sheet for today’s game against Blackburn is out - and fans have been having their say.

Pompey fans on social media have been reacting to John Mousinho’s latest starting line-up.

The Blues have announced their team and bench for today’s important Fratton Park fixture against fellow Championship strugglers Blackburn Rovers - and there’s only one change to the side that lost 1-0 at Swansea on Tuesday night.

Resisting the temptation to make wholesale changes, the head coach has recalled the previously suspended Andre Dozzell to his starting XI. The former Ipswich and QPR midfielder has replaced Marlon Pack, who is not included in the match-day squad - presumably because of a fitness/injury issue.

The team news has, as expected, caused much debate on X. And while there’s not one single selection issue that has generated the most pre-match chatter, fans still have plenty to say as they digest the latest team put out by the boss.

Here’s a selection of those views.

What Fratton faithful have been saying

@JSweetman92: Mous lost the plot sadly! How do you watch Tuesday and make one change Can blame above all you want but these decisions are becoming stranger by the day.

@66288thxhs9w877: What set of circumstances need to exist for Kirk to be given a fair opportunity? I'd be long gone in Jan if I were him.

@MikeTur88: 1 change after that shower on Tuesday?

@mark11s: Not sure how Segecic (our top scorer) can’t get a start in a team so devoid of goals. Like Yang but he’s only ever played well at LW, hopefully that changes today.

@CameronRestall: Don't mind going back to Swift and Dozz, worked at the start of the season. Yang needs a big performance, though, would have preferred Lang back on the right.

@pfc_sam: Don't think Lang particularly worked up front but let's see what we can do at home.

@pompeanut1898: Yang did absolutely nothing midweek. Shouldn’t be starting but he’s been his best at Fratton Park. Fingers crossed.

@kenziemoore01: This will not work.

@HarryGardner26: Swift in midfield when we Kos and Le Roux is just stupid.
