Revealed: Portsmouth owners Tornante's latest £3.4m investment into Fratton Park
Owners Tornante spent almost £4m improving infrastructure at Pompey in the year ending June 30, 2025
Tornante spent another £3.4m improving Fratton Park last season, according to latest accounts.
And an additional £146,000 was invested into the Blues’ Copnor Road-based training ground and its Pompey Health and Fitness Club.

Accounts filed at Companies House for the year ending June 30, 2025 detail the owners’ ongoing commitment towards improving the Blues’ infrastructure.
Following the completion of Fratton Park’s redevelopment programme in February 2024, increasing the capacity towards 21,000, owners Tornante have continued work on the 126-year-old ground.
The summer of 2024 saw the construction of a South Stand TV gantry, along with a new North Stand mezzanine to provide improved supporter facilities with new bars and toilets.
Furthermore, there were additional toilets installed in the Milton End, the creation of the Pompey+ TV studio, the extensive refurbishment of the Victory Suite and the upgrading of the popular Fan Zone.
That takes Tornante’s overall spending on Fratton Park’s infrastructure since becoming owners in August 2017 to around £25m.
Training ground work reaching £146,000
Elsewhere, Pompey’s previous accounts recorded more than £1m being spent on ‘renovation and improvement works’ at the Blues’ training ground in Hilsea. That included £900,000 to relocate the first-team from the Portakabins into the Pompey Health & Fitness Club training complex.

Subsequently, in the 12 months ending June 30, 2025, more work was carried out at the venue, totalling £146,000.
This included upgrading the players’ gym and also the former Roko building as a whole, which houses John Mousinho’s first-team squad.
The latest accounts do not include the refurbishment of the former first-team Portakabins to become a ‘standalone Academy Hub with dressing rooms, new offices, common room for scholars, medical rooms and analysis suite’.
They also don’t include the expanded first-team dressing room area and the creation of a training ground reception area, which will be listed in next year’s set of accounts.
Pompey posted losses of £4.3m for the year ending June 30, 2025, compared to a £5.6m deficit the previous year.
