Portsmouth favourite makes welcome start at Burnley after 10-and-a-half-month absence as West Ham loanee also gets nod
Regan Poole is handed his first Pompey start in 10-and-a-half months for the trip to Burnley.
The central defender made his comeback last weekend against West Brom, with a 16-minute cameo off the bench in the 3-0 defeat.

Now John Mousinho has elected to restore him to his starting line-up for the first time since suffering ACL damage at Chesterfield in November 2023.
Poole partners Tom McInytre at centre-half, with Jordan Williams dropping to the bench for the Turf Moor clash.

The other change is Freddie Potts presented with his Pompey debut, coming in for Andre Dozzell in the centre of midfield.
It’s the same 20-man squad that was on duty against West Brom, with Conor Shaughnessy still missing with a calf issue.
Pompey: Norris, Swanson, Poole, McIntyre, Ogilvie, Potts, Pack, Lane, Lang, Murphy, Saydee.
Subs Not Used: Schmid, Williams, Towler, Dozzell, Kamara, Ritchie, Silvera, Blair, Sorensen.
