Portsmouth boss tackles topic of giving star man and Republic of Ireland international Ronan Curtis a break
Kenny Jackett is weighing up a rest for Ronan Curtis.
The Pompey boss feels fatigue played a part in Curtis' form dropping off at the end of an impressive maiden season at Fratton Park.

And he will look at guarding against a repeat of that scenario, with the Republic of Ireland becoming an increasingly crucial figure in his side's promotion bid this term.
Jackett is also aware, though, the 23-year-old did have a five-game spell without a start last October which could come into his thinking
But his manager will mull over his course of action with Reeco Hackett-Fairchild yet to be given an opportunity of note.
Jackett said: ‘Ronan did just run of steam a little bit last season, but he’s a fit lad and an enthusiastic lad.
‘I hope it doesn’t happen again this season and if he doesn’t cut his finger of that will help as well!
‘He did (have a rest in October) and it won’t do anyone any harm to do that.
‘Our other options are Ryan Williams and Marcus Harness who are both good players.
‘Sometimes a rest give that freshness. It’s a judgment call, a gut feeling.
‘We’ll see (if he needs a rest) I hope not.
‘There’s a little bit of planning in terms of the whole thing. Then after the manager you concentrate on the next game
‘If he does need a rest, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild hasn’t had a chance. We have players who can step in.’
