The Blues have made an unsatisfactory start to the campaign, collecting just two points from their opening three games.
Calls for Kenny Jackett to be sacked by fans have increased and the boss knows he must deliver at the Pirelli Stadium.
Following last weekend’s insipid 2-1 loss to Wigan, Jackett may look to make changes to his starting XI against the Brewers.
Here’s a look at how Pompey could line-up...

9. Attacking midfield - Michael Jacobs
Showed glimpses on his full debut against Wigan and will be looking to build on that performance. Photo: Joe Pepler

10. Left wing - Ronan Curtis
Has started the season somewhat underwhelming and Pompey will be looking for more from him attacking-wise after the defeat to Wigan. Photo: Joe Pepler

11. Striker - Ellis Harrison
Pompey looked far better when the Welshman came off the bench to score against Wigan. Kenny Jackett hasn't often deferred from his 4-2-3-1 system and Harrison's challenging to replace John Marquis in the lone striker role. Photo: Joe Pepler

12. Sub 1 - Alex Bass
Finally recovered from his ankle injury and should replace Duncan Turnbull on the bench. Photo: Joe Pepler
