17. Hayden Carter (CB) - Blackburn
The Blackburn centre-half became Pompey's maiden January signing of 2022. And the Fratton faithful have already seen why Cowley pushed for his signature with impressive individual displays. Picture: Ross Kinnaird/Getty Images Photo: Ross Kinnaird
18. Tyler Walker (ST) - Coventry
Walker is the man hand-picked by Cowley to reignite Pompey's forward line, after signing him for Lincoln in 2019. The Blues boss has been along term admirer of the striker and time will tell if he'll be a hit on the south coast. Picture: Marc Atkins/Getty Images Photo: Marc Atkins
19. Ollie Webber (GK) - Crystal Palace
Details of Pompey's interest came to light via an agent overheard on a train. But the details were true as Pompey signed Webber on a short-term deal to allow Alex Bass to leave temporarily. Picture: Nick Taylor/Liverpool FC/Liverpool FC via Getty Images Photo: Nick Taylor/Liverpool FC
20. Denver Hume (LB) - Sunderland
