Pompey were among those adding to their ranks, with head coach Danny Cowley bringing in young Manchester City keeper Gavin Bazunu on a season-long loan on Thursday.
That’s after he landed former Luton and Millwall midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe on a free transfer last weekend.
Both deals take the Blues up to five new arrivals so far this summer.
More are expected to follow suit.
But until then, here’s a round-up of the business concluded over the past week in the third tier – including Craig MacGillivray’s move to Charlton on a free transfer.

5. Vaclav Hladky - Salford to Ipswich
The Salford keeper has moved to Ipswich on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Last season the 30-year-old Czech helped the Red Devils defeat Pompey on penalties in the rearranged 2020 Papa John's Trophy final at Wembley. Photo: Bryn Lennon

6. Ben Amos - Charlton to Wigan
Another keeper on the move, with Amos swapping Charlton for Wigan. The 31-year-old Mancunian has signed a two-year deal following the expiry of his Addicks contract. Amos was an ever-present in League One last season as Charlton finished one place above eighth-placed Pompey. Photo: Pete Norton

7. Xavier Amaechi - Hamburg to Bolton
The 20-year-old winger has joined the newly-promoted Trotters on an initial six-month loan deal. Amaechi moved to Hamburg from Arsenal in 2019 for 2.5m euros. He made seven loan appearances for Karlsruhe last season. Photo: Naomi Baker

8. Josh Scowen - Sunderland to Wycombe
The midfielder has rejoined Wycombe Wanderers on a two-year deal following the expiry of his Sunderland contract. The 28-year-old started his career at Wycombe, making 91 league appearances for the Chairboys, before enjoying spells at Barnsley, QPR and the Black Cats. Photo: Pete Norton
