Here’s how Danny Cowley’s players fared in the sunshine at Priestfield over the opening period.
9. Ronan Curtis - 7
Revelled in deeper role after being used up front in recent games. Won his headers and used the ball efficiently behind Pigott, naturally drifting out to the left on occasions. Photo: Jason Brown
10. Reeco Hackett - 7
A fine return to the team after his injury struggles. A bag of tricks and a number of positive runs topped off by a cool finish for Pompey's goal. Photo: Jason Brown
11. Joe Pigott - 6
Made a different with his presence up front, providing a decent focal point for Cowley's side. Distributed the ball steadily and let fly with one angled drive which flew wide. Photo: Jason Brown
