The Blues have been beset by injury issues going into the game at Kenilworth - a match would take John Mousinho’s side a giant step closer to Championship survival.
With Mousinho staying tight-lipped over the extent of the issues for the likes of Rob Atkinson, Hayden Matthews, Isaac Hayden and Zak Swanson there’s plenty of selection intrigue going into the game.
This is how we think Pompey will line up as they aim for their fourth win on the bounce.
5. CB Marlon Pack
Incredibly tough one to call this. Hayden Matthews had to be helped off the pitch last weekend, so seems the biggest defensive doubt. Rob Atkinson is definitely a harder one to call - could he make it at Kenilworth Road? If not Marlon Pack, Ryley Towler, Isaac Hayden and Connor Ogilvie are the considerations - we're just leaning towards the skipper. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages
6. LB Connor Ogilvie
A consideration is moving Ogilvie inside and starting Bramall. Can see that happening at some point at Kenilworth Road or certainly Bramall involvement, but maybe not from the outset. Photo: Jason Brown
7. CM Isaac Hayden
Was deemed a precautionary withdrawal last weekend, which suggests a decent chance of being available. | West Bromwich Albion FC via Gett
8. CM Andre Dozzell
One of Pompey's form players at present, so can't see the former QPR man not starting against Hatters. Photo: Jason Brown
