Liverpool midfielder previously linked with Portsmouth and Ipswich set for Holland switch

The Liverpool youngster is poised to move to the Dutch top-flight side on a season-long long, as per various reports.

According to Goal.com, the Blues and League One rivals Ipswich were supposedly keen on Woodburn ahead of a renewed promotion push.

The Wales international spent last season on loan at Oxford United, registering one goal and five assists in 16 appearances.

However, The News reported Pompey were not actively pursuing a move for Woodburn.
