Lincoln 1 Portsmouth 3: John Marquis nets double, Ronan Curtis bags and Haji Mnoga makes Football League debut in fine win
Pompey take on Lincoln at Sincil Bank looking to put Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Charlton behind them.
That was their third loss on home soil already this season.
However, the Blues’ track record on the road this term makes for impressive reading, with Kenny Jackett’ side picking up 10 points from a possible 12 so far.
There have been wins over Sunderland, Gillingham and Burton Albion, as well as a goalless draw at Rochdale.
Tonight promises to be a game that will test that record, though, against a Lincoln side who are third in the table.
Yet last season Pompey returned from Sincil Bank with a 2-0 success, while their last defeat at the Imps was recorded back in the 1981-82 season.
We’ll have all the updates of the clash throughout the evening.
