Latest: Portsmouth pre-season plans taking shape - and more tour details
The Blues have already announced three friendlies as part of their summer schedule
Pompey are putting the finishing touches to their pre-season programme - with a tour match now off the table.
The Blues have already unveiled fixtures against three local sides Gosport (July 16), the Hawks (July 19) and Bognor (July 20).
They are now in the process of finalising their remaining schedule, which will be played away from Fratton Park due to ongoing pitch renovation work.

However, that will not consist of a friendly during a planned six-day training camp abroad at the beginning of July, with the destination still to be publicly revealed.
Instead, Pompey are exploring the possibility of hosting an open training session during the tour, with supporters to be allowed to attend.
Conceivably, that would involve the hiring of a venue which can admit up to 200 fans, enabling them to watch the session and also meet the players and management afterwards.
That worked to excellent effect two years ago at the Pinatar Arena Football Center in Murcia, Spain, when head coach Danny Cowley agreed to supporters attending.
Although, during that July 2022 tour, there was also a friendly against Qatar Sporting Club at the same venue two days later, with the Blues running out 2-0 winners.
In terms of friendlies back home, Pompey are looking at League One and League Two opponents in preparation for their Championship return.
There is a general reluctance to face fellow Championship sides as part of pre-season plans, while Premier League clubs these days favour combining first-team friendlies with tours abroad.
Meanwhile, work on the new South Stand television gantry is nearing completion, with the crane expected to be removed from Fratton Park this week.
That will allow pitch work to commence from next week in the build-up to the Championship season’s August 10 kick-off.
