Latest Championship promotion odds - where Portsmouth, Wolves, Millwall & Co rank

Pompey’s current three-match unbeaten run sees them sit 13th in the Championship but just two points off the play-off places.

Pompey moved to within two points of the Championship play-off positions following their battling 1-1 draw at Wolves on Tuesday night.

John Mousinho’s troops found themselves a goal down to their Molineux hosts after substitute Jordan James fired past Blues keeper Nico Schmid at his near post on 62 minutes.

However, Terry Devlin, who was making his first start in five games, rescued a point for the visitors with just four minutes of the 90 remaining when he calmly volleyed home from just inside Wolves’ penalty area.

The Northern Ireland international’s controlled finish sent the 1,976 Blues fans who travelled into raptures and helped Pompey stretch their unbeaten record against the Old Gold at Molineux to seven games.

More importantly, though, it put Mousinho’s side a win away from a potential top-eight placing with one quarter of the season almost complete, and carried on the momentum that has been building in the wake of the south-coast derby defeat at Southampton.

Victory against Millwall at Fratton Park on Saturday could see the Blues move into the play-off places if other results go their way.

It would also give Pompey their highest-placed league position since the opening day of last season, when they beat Oxford United 1-0 to sit ninth in the standings.

But what are the odds of Pompey retaining a potential top-eight position over the rest of the campaign and booking a place back in the Premier League with promotion?

We checked that out on SkyBet and here’s what we discovered...
