Ipswich 2 Portsmouth 3 - RECAP as ex-Norwich puts Blues into FA Cup second round at Portman Road
Pompey travel to League One rivals Ipswich in the first round of the FA Cup today.
The Blues have been in rampant form on the road this season, most recently picking up a 3-1 win at Lincoln City.
Kenny Jackett’s side have yet to lose away from home, although they face a tough test against their League One rivals.
Both teams are pushing for promotion, with the Tractor Boys sitting second in the table on 22 points and Pompey seven places and two points adrift in seventh.
After an indifferent start, there are certainly signs the Blues have turned a corner and look far more potent going forward.
