Do you agree with how Blues writer Jordan Cross saw it at the CBS Arena?

Selfless showing from Pompey’s dangerman. Offered threat in the first half but married it with intelligent defensive work, especially when taking a yellow for team. Operating a little differently as Bramall goes high and wide but did what he needed to do as it became a rearguard action as the game wore on. Photo: Jason Brown

Took on senior role with rookies as Mousinho paired him with first Thomas Waddingham and then Mark O’Mahony. Didn’t really threaten as an attacking performance on a night where his defensive resilience was probably more important to his side. Photo: Jason Brown

Nerveless from the young Aussie on his full Championship bow. Added fearless energy and turned over the ball on occasions. Clearly trusted by Mousinho to do the donkey work out of possession and didn’t let his manager down on that front. Photo: Jason Brown/ProSportsImages
