Sean Raggett’s 17th-minute header made it a first victory in five League One matches, yet the Blues’ overall performance was disappointing against the strugglers.
Regardless, there were two outstanding performances, in particular, and here are our on-the-whistle Pompey ratings...
9. Ryan Tunnicliffe - 7
A surprise recall to the starting XI and didn’t let anyone down, growing into the match and keeping things simple in the centre of midfield. Photo: National World
10. Ronan Curtis - 5
(Replaced by Josh Koroma on 62 minutes) Not his day. Exposed defensively when tracking back and didn’t use the ball well in attacking situations. Photo: National World
11. Colby Bishop - 5
Hit a disappointing run of form of late and another below-par showing. Cannot fault work-rate and attitude, but been a while since goal from open play. Photo: NationalWorld
12. Joe Pigott - 5
(Replaced by Dane Scarlett in 58th minute) Struggled to get involved in the game and, other than a shot from a first-half scramble, failed to make any significant impact. Photo: Nationalworld
