Gillingham 0 Portsmouth 2: REACTION as John Marquis and Michael Jacobs ensure Blues head to Sunderland on back of a win

Pompey make the trip to Gillingham aiming to bounce back to winning ways.

The Blues have endured a frustrating start to the League One season, picking up eight points from their opening six matches.

Kenny Jackett’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Doncaster Rovers last weekend.

That’s meant that the Pompey boss has come under pressure from sections of supporters once again.

Certainly the Blues need to find a consistent run of form as they aim for promotion after suffering play-off defeat to Oxford in July.

Ellis Harrison is missing for the clash at Priestfield, meaning it will hand an opportunity for John Marquis to impress up front.

We’ll be bringing you all of the live updates of the clash throughout the evening.
