'Genuinely gutting. Simply unlucky. Not acceptable' - the Portsmouth reaction as Burnley claim last-gasp win against 'battling Blues'
Pompey fans on social media have been reacting to the Blues’ last-gasp defeat at the hands of Burnley.
John Mousinho’s side led at the break thanks to Callum Lang’s third goal of the season just before half-time.
Substitute Jeremy Sarmiento equalised for the hosts just after the hour mark after being handed plenty of space on the edge of he box to pick a spot beyond Will Norris.
And just when it looked like Pompey would hang on to claim a deserved draw against the Clarets, up popped Burnley captain Josh Brownhill to find a winner and send the Blues home with nothing.
It’s not the first time this season that stoppage-time has been cruel to the Blues.
So it’s understandable this was another tough one to take as Mousinho & Co remain second from bottom in the table and without a league win.

F1footballfan1: Gutting. Genuinely gutting. But a lot of positives… Regan Poole is a monster of a defender. We’ve just got to get Sheffield United out of the way and then we will be fine. We can’t keep conceding in the 90th minute though. Every away game this season we’ve done that.
@DiscoWeapon: That was a disgraceful goal to concede. Norris could've done the big shop at Leigh Park Asda and still had time to get down to that.

@whcallum: We've had games this season that we've looked poor in, disjointed and lacked ability. Today we looked the opposite, we play like that every weekend and we're going to be absolutely fine, battling blues, just simply unlucky #Pompey.
@martynpearce23: Shame that the players dug in played really well but some of them coming of the bench have to be stronger but regroup go again still think we will be ok not having that goal scorer on the pitch is a bit of a worry tho.
