Former Portsmouth, Chesterfield, Mansfield and Swindon defender reportedly training with Bolton
Former Pompey defender Dion Donohue is reportedly on trial with League Two Bolton.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claim the 27-year-old has linked up with the Trotters in a bid to earn a contract following his Swindon departure earlier this month.

It was revealed on December 11 that the ex-Blues left-back had left the County Ground ‘for personal reasons’.
He rejoined the Robins in July, after having a loan spell there in October 2019 following his release from Mansfield.
Donohue featured six times in total during his first spell but did not play after November 9 because of injury and FA registration problems.
On his return in the summer, then Swindon boss Richie Wellens said he was prepared to offer the player his ‘very last chance’ in football.
However, his time at the League One side – now managed by John Sheridan – was cut short, with Donohue featuring 11 times for the Robins this season.
The former Chesterfield academy product left Pompey in July 2019 after scoring one goal in 48 appearances during his two-year spell.
Signed by Kenny Jackett, he subsequently joined Mansfield but had his contract terminated after less than two months at the club following an incident in a nightclub.
