Jones-Thomas featured in a right-wing role for the Blues and played 55 minutes in total.

The 19-year-old won Pompey's second penalty at the Snows Stadium, which Alfie Stanley converted.

Jones-Thomas is currently without a club after departing the Swans earlier this summer.

Last year, he penned a one-year professional deal and made eight appearances in Premier League 2 throughout the 2019-20 campaign.

Should Jones-Thomas win a deal at Fratton Park then he’d likely fall under Mark Kelly’s remit after recently taking up the role player development manager.

Kelly now looks after players between under-19 to under-23 level.
