Ex-Portsmouth Wembley winner and former Charlton, Birmingham and Cardiff man joins 12th club in nine years
A former Pompey player has racked up his 12th club in nine years after joining Crewe.
Omar Bogle was once a £1m player, yet his career has become nomadic, including a six-month Fratton Park spell.
During that time on the south coast he was part of the 2019 Checkatrade Trophy-winning team under Kenny Jackett, starting against Sunderland at Wembley.
Yet his primary objective when recruited on loan from Cardiff was to secure promotion - only for Pompey to lose in the 2018-19 play-offs.

And he has subsequently struggled to settle anywhere since, with Crewe in League Two his latest move.
Indeed, after catching the eye with his goal-scoring exploits at Solihull Moors, since 2015 Bogle has turned out for Grimsby, Wigan, Cardiff, Peterborough, Birmingham, Den Haag, Charlton, Doncaster, Hartlepool, Newport County.
There was also Pompey, where he scored four goals in 14 appearances in a spell impacted by injury.
With Jackett’s men topping League One in January 2019, they strengthened their promotion hopes by recruiting six players, including the former England C striker.
Also arriving were Andy Cannon, Bryn Morris, Lloyd Isgrove, James Vaughan and Viv Solomon-Otabor, yet few worked out,
Of that group, Bogle was arguably the most effective of the January dealings, getting off to a great start when scoring on his debut at Luton.
With four goals in his opening eight appearances, he clearly hit the ground running, yet never netted again over the final 11 matches.
During that period, he missed five games through injury, including the play-off semi-final second leg against Sunderland, which saw the Blues eliminated.
Returning to parent club Cardiff that summer, he has since moved six times, only really finding success at Newport, where he netted 27 times in 86 outings.
They released him this summer, prompting his arrival on a two-year deal at Crewe, who lost in the League Two play-offs last season.
