Ex-Portsmouth favourite the Wigan hero as Championship campaign resumes
Jamal Lowe produced a match-winning display as Wigan returned to Championship action with a crucial victory.
The relegation battlers were among 22 teams back on duty today, following the suspension of the fixture programme due to the coronavirus crisis.

And former Fratton favourite Lowe announced the resumption in style, with a goal and an assist for Paul Cook’s side in a 2-0 triumph at Huddersfield.
It represented just a fourth goal in 38 outings since joining the Latics from Pompey last summer.
He was also credited with an assist for Anthony Pilkington’s second-half goal which forged an unassailable two-goal lead.
Lowe’s superb contribution against their relegation rivals put Wigan three points clear of the Championship drop zone.
Elsewhere, Conor Chaplin’s Barnsley won 1-0 at QPR, yet remain in the bottom three.
Elliot Simoes grabbed the only goal of the game, before being replaced by former Blues striker Chaplin at the interval.
They are now four points adrift from safety, with only Luton below them in the Championship table.
The Hatters had shared a 1-1 draw with Preston on a first game back for Nathan Jones as boss.
Last week, Luton announced former Pompey manager Paul Hart would be rejoining Jones, having previously served as his assistant at Stoke and Kenilworth Road.
