Ex-Cardiff and Millwall boss Neil Harris ruled out of Portsmouth manager hunt
Neil Harris is out of the running to be Pompey’s new boss.

However, Harris was not keen on a short-term arrangement and declined the opportunity.
It is understood the 43-year-old would have been willing to drop out of the Championship for the Pompey job had a longer contract been available.
Yet with the Blues favouring a temporary managerial appointment, Harris was not tempted.
Like Harris, both would prefer at least 18-month deals, yet still remain keen on taking charge at Fratton Park.
That would also allow the incoming boss time to impress to also earn consideration for a longer-term stay.
