It’s 15 matches undefeated for John Mousinho’s men after seeing off the Shews 3-1 through Colby Bishop’s double and a Chey Dunkley own goal.
The result aside, it was a below-par showing from the hosts, despite getting a third-minute lead, with their attacking game not quite clicking.
Nonetheless, Pompey are eight points clear at the top of League One with four matches remaining – and here our our player ratings...

9. Abu Kamara - 5
(Replaced by Christian Saydee on 62 mins) - Looked lethargic and lacking his usual spark and energy. Midway through the first half switched wings with Paddy Lane, but still couldn’t get him going. Photo: Jason Brown

10. Colby Bishop - 8
Initially used a little deeper with Yengi on the pitch, which clearly isn’t his natural game. Looks more comfortable as the lone striker and eased the nerves with his second which takes him up to 20 for the season. First goal was a penalty. Photo: Bryn Lennon

11. Kusini Yengi - 5
(Replaced by Gavin Whyte in 62 mins) Really off the pace in the first half, struggling to keep the ball, make his passes and stay on his feet, but produced the moment of inspiration to win the penalty for Bishop to net from. Didn’t improve after the break and no surprise to see him substituted - 5 Photo: Jason Brown
