Danny Cowley is aiming for a fifth successive League One victory since taking the Blues hot seat last month.
After wins over Ipswich, Shrewsbury, Rochdale and Wigan, Pompey have got their promotion charge firmly back on track.
However, the Blues head into the visit of the Brewers without a recognised striker for a three straight game.
John Marquis will serve the final match of his suspension, while Ellis Harrison and Jordy Hiwula are both injured.
The home side are looking likely to be without Sean Raggett. He came off with a facial injury at Wigan.
Despite Cowley not ruling the fearless centre-back out of the clash, the severity of his injury suggests he might not be available.
Here’s the side we think will line-up against Burton tomorrow...

1. Goalkeeper - Craig MacGillivray
Will have relished a clean sheet at Wigan. Despite being firmly established as No1, he has growing competition after Lewis Ward turned out for the reserves and Alex Bass closing in on a return from injury. Photo: PinPeP

2. Right-back - Callum Johnson
Been a consistent figure since his arrival and firmly first-choice right-back Photo: Pinpep

3. Centre-back - Jack Whatmough
Was one of the standout performers at Wigan. Set to be part of a new centre-back pairing with Rasmus Nicolaisen. Photo: Jason Brown

4. Centre-back - Rasmus Nicolaisen
With Sean Raggett likely to be absent, the Dane will come into the defence. He performed well off the bench at Wigan, winning a number of key headers. Photo: Graham Hunt
