Championship top goalscorer odds: Where Portsmouth and rival players rank
Portsmouth will hope to enjoy a much improved season as their Championship campaign gets underway.
The Championship season begins today (Friday) with Wolves hosting Blackburn in the first game of the 2026/27 campaign.
Sides across the second tier are gearing up for the grind of the new season, with many teams hoping for improved fortunes. Two of those teams include Sheffield United and Portsmouth, who want to kick on. The Blades are 28/1 to win the Championship, while Pompey are much further back at 125/1, but both sides realistically have a chance of making the play-offs.

Pompey have done well over the last couple of seasons to stay in the division despite having one of the league's lowest wage bills, with the 2026/27 summer window seeing greater focus on reinforcements, including the arrival of Marko Milovanović. United, meanwhile, endured mid-table mediocrity last season but are aiming for the play-offs at the very least. Both teams have attacking players who will be key to pushing them forward, with some of them ranked in the top 40 in the Championship top goalscorer market this season.
With all of this in mind, let's take a look below at the Championship 2026/27 season top goalscorer odds courtesy of Gambler Media.
