Championship relegation: Portsmouth's remaining fixtures compared to rivals Leicester, WBA and Oxford United
Pompey are in a battle to avoid relegation into League One over the final weeks of the season.
The final international break of a long, hard season will provide some much-needed respite and an opportunity to regroup for Pompey and relegation rivals Leicester City, Oxford United, Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion.
But all five clubs know they still have plenty to do if they are to avoid joining already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday in League One next season.
For the Blues, there are some pivotal fixtures lying in wait when they return to league action next month. And they will head into a tough-looking Good Friday trip to Norwich City knowing any slip-ups could see them return to the relegation zone for the first time since December.
That game is followed by a home fixture against fellow strugglers Oxford, before John Mousinho and his players head into a challenging double-header against automatic promotion contenders Middlesbrough (A) and Ipswich Town (H).
A huge game against Leicester at Fratton Park follows, before an away-day at current leaders Coventry City provides the next test of their Championship credentials.
A trip to Stoke City provides the final away day of the season, before the campaign comes to a close with a home clash against Birmingham City on May 2.
The Fratton faithful will be desperately hoping their team can turn their current fortunes around to extend their Championship stay into a third season. But what challenges are facing their fellow strugglers and which side has the most difficult run-in to the end of the campaign?
Incidentally, Pompey have played one game fewer than all the teams around at the bottom end of the table.
