Championship form table: How Portsmouth, Oxford United and Norwich City compare

Portsmouth will hope to move further away from the Championship relegation zone in the new year.

Pompey’s main aim for the second half of the season will be to preserve their Championship status at the expense of the likes of relegation rivals Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday and Oxford United.

As it stands, in the aftermath of Monday’s dramatic 2-1 home win against Charlton Athletic, John Mousinho’s men are sitting one place and three points above the relegation zone - and there have been some positive signs in recent weeks that should give hope to the Fratton Park faithful.

After suffering three consecutive defeats against Sheffield United, Bristol City and Charlton, Mousinho’s side are unbeaten in four and have claimed eight points from their past four league games and head into the new year in good spirits.

But how does their form over the last six games compare to their rivals across the second tier of English football?
