Pompeu will hope to boost their bid to preserve their Championship status when they visit fellow strugglers Blackburn Rovers on Saturday lunchtime.
Both sides are sitting in the bottom six of the second tier ahead of their Ewood Park clash - although Pompey also have the benefit of holding at least a five-point advantage on the clubs in the relegation zone.
Once their meeting with Rovers is consigned to the history books, John Mousinho’s side will return home for a Fratton Park double header as they host Swansea City and Derby County over the following ten days. Pompey will hope the home faithful will get behind in what could be a pivotal period in the battle to avoid the drop and another big crowd will be expected for both games.
But how does Portsmouth’s average home attendance compare to their Championship rivals?
