'Awful goal to concede. Deffo making progress' - Portsmouth fans react to 1-1 draw with Barnsley after visitors steal late point at Fratton Park
Pompey fans on social media have been having their say on the Blues’ 1-1 draw with Barnsley.
John Mousinho’s side took the lead on 49 minutes following Colby Bishop’s 16th goal of the season.
But they were denied a victory after Bobby Thomas found an equaliser for the visitors in the 89th minute.
The lateness of the Tykes goal has proven hard to take – but many fans have taken positives from the game.
Here’s what supporters on Twitter have been saying...
@Samalaaarr: Deserved to win that game in the end. Gutting result but lots to like.
@MattWilliams34: Keep performances like that up and results will follow.
@jon_glen: A lot better second half but if you don’t take your chances anything can happen. Positives to take for sure.
@Roderz_125: Shame we only got a point out of that really, but a point against a play-off chasing team is decent, onto the next.
@HazzaTWood96: A home draw against Barnsley after taking the lead thanks to Bishop, very frustrating but I'll take point against a decent Barnsley though it feels like two points dropped now, PUP.
@Dann_PFC: Good game, played well and positives to take to Plymouth.
@Mike50618589: Gutted...a much better performance from the lads and actually an entertaining game. Probably would have taken this result before the game if I'm honest.
@furniss_alex: Gutting. Awful goal to concede. But would’ve taken a point before kick off. Refs awful once again.
@murfprodigy: Not a bad performance boys deffo making progress.
@gaittman: Late blow. But still on an upward curve.
