The Blues lost 2-0 at Charlton this afternoon, with a hugely below-par Will Norris badly at fault for both goals.
Yet the second-half display from John Mousinho’s men was just as concerning as they barely even entered their League One opponents’ penalty area.
After disappointing games against Wycombe and MK Dons over the previous eight days, this performance was another – and here are our player ratings...

9. Sammy Silvera - 6
Continues to operate in the 10 and definitely had some good moments, yet faded in the second half as the Blues struggled to keep possession. Regardless, has been an encouraging pre-season. Photo: Jason Brown

10. Josh Murphy - 5
(Replaced by Christian Saydee on 43 mins) Comfortably his quietest outing of pre-season and frustratingly unable to get involved. Ironically his best moment led to a first-half ankle injury during a challenge by defender Kayne Ramsay which was firm, but fair. Still, an injury concern. Photo: Jason Brown

11. Kusini Yengi - 7
(Replaced by Callum Lang on 71 mins) Far better compared to recent friendlies. Had one lovely turn and run in the first half, culminating in driving a shot from outside the box just over. More involved in the first half, holding the ball up and always looking to create. Photo: Jason Brown
