'Announce Hiwula contract' - Portsmouth fans have their say as ex-Coventry striker steals the show at Cheltenham

And one thing appears to be dominating the subject matter – Jordy Hiwula.

The striker scored a double in the convincing win.

But with his short-term contract due to expire in January, many believe he deserves an extension to his current deal.

Here’s what fans on social media have been saying after the final whistle blew at Whaddon Road...

@tjhooker1151: Comfortable. Contract for #Jordy please. Definitely brings some pace and guile to the @Pompey attack.

@SamuelW76112746: Announce Hiwula contract.

Lewis Robinson: Hiwula to start v Ipswich, he’s played immensely

@themartinfish: Great run-out for the fringe! Perfect blend. Close & Stanley stood out for me but plenty of pleasing performances and job done.

@khooper8695: So... Jordy Hiwula... Start him alongside Marquis and put Harness back on the Wing and drop Williams... Thoughts? #Pompey

@Broookler: We could do a lot worse than extending Hiwula's contract to the end of the season.

@parquedelperro: A smaller but more tight knit squad. Think it has helped create a better @Pompey team spirit this season.

Steven Rolfe: Well done Pompey and youngsters
