Here’s how Pompey writer Jordan Cross saw it at Brisbane Road – do you agree with his marks out of 10.
9. Gavin Whyte - 8
A lively offering as Pompey produced the majority of their threat down the right - capped by his dangerous ball is which Beckles looped beyond his own keeper. Photo: Jason Brown
10. Christian Saydee - 8
A cult hero has been born! Offered threat from a deep-lying attacking role matched with strength and clever use of the ball. Photo: Jason Brown
11. Abu Kamara - 7
Handed a start in which he was steady, but not at the forefront of proceedings as the ball went down the other flank. Did his defensive work and surprisingly competitive aerially. Photo: Jason Brown
12. Colby Bishop - 8
The Magic Man is up and running. Got his goal and had sights for more in a display where he was Pompey’s attacking focal point - as we’ve come to expect. Photo: Jason Brown
