The head coach has already expressed his interest in making summer swoops for Matt Macey, Owen Dale & Joe Pigott, who have starred since his arrival.
Not just that but the 36-year-old also has the task of determining who he wants to keep with 10 of his permanent senior men out of contract at the end of the season.
But as Mousinho looks to build his side for the next term, what are the chances of his current loan members remaining at Fratton Park?
We’ve taken a look at the 34 men who joined the Blues on a temporary basis since the Eisner era began in 2017 to see if any judgments can be made ahead of this summer’s talks.
Forgotten any of these names?

29. Gavin Bazunu
The goalkeeper shone during his loan at Fratton Park, missing just two league games all season. He was rewarded with a £15m move to Southampton last summer upon his return to Manchester City from Pompey. Photo: Jason Brown

30. Mahlon Romeo
The right-back made 41 outings during his season-long loan from Millwall last term. Romeo departed The Den permanently last summer and now appears for Championship side Cardiff. Photo: Jason Brown

31. Tyler Walker=
Unfortunately, the front man was another striker who failed to live up to expectations while on loan from Coventry last term. He netted just one goal in 15 outings for the Blues and failed to appear in any of their final six games of the campaign. He is still with the Sky Blues and has played 15 times this term. 32. Hayden Carter
The centre-back starred on loan from Blackburn in the second half of last season, which prompted talk of a permanent swoop by the Blues. However, Carter remained at Ewood Park and has enjoyed a successful campaign with Rovers. Photo: Graham Hunt
