Pompey injury update: O'Keefe four weeks away from return

Stuart O'Keefe is four weeks away from returning to full fitness.

The Cardiff loanee has been sidelined with a groin injury since limping out of Pompey’s 1-0 win over Bury on December 16.

Meanwhile, Kal Naismith is available to face Blackpool on Saturday.

The Scot missed Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Fleetwood with a groin problem.

However, Brett Pitman and Gareth Evans (both hamstring) will remain sidelined for the Tangerines’ visit to Fratton Park.

Danny Rose continues his rehabilitation for his broken leg.

Meanwhile, top-scorer Kyle Vassell is back in contention for Blackpool.

The striker has missed Gary Bowyer’s side’s past two matches with a recurring hamstring problem.

In his absence, Armand Gnanduillet has scored twice and is the most likely to give way, unless Vassell returns for a bench spot.

Callum Cooke is missing with a heel problem, while long-term casualties Mark Cullen (hamstring) and Jim McAlister (broken leg) continue to sit out.
