EFL World Cup players in full, plus ranked by clubs and nationality

Here is a breakdown of all the EFL players at the World Cup, also broken down by clubs and nationality

The 2026 World Cup has begun with a bang after goals aplenty and a fair few shocks, and it's safe to say there is so much English club interest over in North America at the moment.

England got their campaign underway on Wednesday with a 4-2 victory over Croatia, as Harry Kane bagged a brace, with Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford also finding the net.

The likes of Argentina, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Mexico and USA also cruised to wins, while Spain, Brazil, and Portugal were held to draws.

It's not just Premier League interest at the World Cup, with a total of 41 players who plied their trade in the EFL last season now at the big one in North America.

Norwich City lead the way with five representatives at the World Cup, while the likes of Coventry City and Hull City have three apiece. Portsmouth have even gotten in on the act with one player in Gustavo Caballero taking the field for Paraguay, though he could be out of action due to injury for the second set of group games.

With EFL representation at the World Cup in mind, let's take a look at the three lists below, courtesy of Casino.net, detailing the EFL-based World Cup players in full, ranked by clubs and then by nations.
