Deadline day update as Portsmouth are linked with late business
There will be no late deadline day drama Pompey.
The News understands the Blues will not undertake any further business before tonight’s 11pm deadline.
Pompey have tonight been linked with a move for Millwall’s Shane Ferguson and online rumours circulated midfielder Ben Close was on his way.
There’s no truth in either rumour, however, with Kenny Jackett getting his business in ahead of the final day of the window.
That means Charlie Daniels, Harvey White, George Byers and Lewis Ward are the four arrivals this month.
Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, Bryn Morris and loanee Cam Pring have all departed.
